From hands-on to machinery

How does the game work?

You start by scooping water. As your operation grows, you build pumps, produce resources, connect local power and transport, and upgrade your equipment. The retreating water reveals more of the seabed, while curious catches give you more to inspect along the way.

What makes the factory matter?

Every part of the factory supports the same personal goal: finding the missing key. Machines let you move more water; power and resource connections keep those machines working. The challenge grows from a simple action into an increasingly elaborate operation.

What can you find?

The game includes unexpected objects such as rubber ducks, black pearls, sunken crowns, and keys that turn out to belong to someone else. Collect finds, clean mysterious catches, and explore what the water leaves behind.

Is it similar to Needle In A Haystack Simulator?

The shared idea is searching for one tiny object through an enormous task. Unplug the Ocean makes that search a coastal factory-building game. Our game comparison guide explains the overlap with search, digging, and automation games.
